Pakistani terrorists arrested from Delhi; AK 47 recovered
The Special Cell of Police on Tuesday arrested a Pakistani terrorist from Laxmi Nagar area and recovered AK -47 rifle and several arms and ammunition.
The Delhi Police has foiled a big conspiracy of terror attacks before the festivals season. The Special Cell of Police on Tuesday arrested a Pakistani terrorist from Ramesh Park in Laxmi Nagar area and recovered AK -47 rifle and several others arms and ammunition.
The terrorists have been identified as Ashraf Ali and is a resident of Pakistan’s Punjab. An AK-47 rifle along with an extra magazine, 60 rounds of bullets, a hand grenade, 50 rounds of bullets along with 2 state-of-the-art pistols have been recovered from him.
According to the sources, Ashraf reached India via Nepal. He was living in Delhi with a fake ID by changing his name to Ali Ahmed Noori. It has been reported that Ashraf Ali was trained by the ISI to attack in other parts of India including Delhi. Fake Indian Passport have also been recovered from the terrorists.
Delhi has been put on high alert, every vehicle passing is being checked. Meanwhile, Search operation is being conducted in the area and the house where he was living with a fake ID.
